Who we are

Thirty years in process control

SSi Europe Sp. z o.o. is a company within the Super Systems Inc. group, responsible for the European Union market. Our offer covers oxygen probes, atmosphere analysers, dew point meters, flow meters, controllers as well as complete engineering and control solutions and SCADA supervisory systems.

Our experience in this field already goes back more than thirty years. The products and solutions we offer meet the full range of our customers needs in measurement, control, data recording and reporting in line with the standards of the rail, automotive and aerospace industries.

The scope of our solutions and products covers processes such as carburising, hardening, carbonitriding, nitriding and ferritic nitrocarburising, annealing, brazing, sintering and processes in vacuum furnaces. We work with manufacturers of new equipment and we also modernise and optimise equipment already in service at our customers.

At SSi, looking after our customers is our priority, which is why we keep raising our service standards.

The Super Systems group

Six companies, four continents

Our instruments are designed and manufactured at the plant in the USA, in Cincinnati, Ohio. From there the probes, analysers and controllers go to our customers in Europe and around the world.

Product development, research and second-line support remain shared across the group. The regional companies are responsible for sales, commissioning and service on their own markets. That way the customer talks to an engineer who knows the local requirements and the specifics of the country.

The standard sets out requirements for sensors, control and measuring instrumentation, system accuracy tests, temperature uniformity surveys and furnace classification. It also defines calibration intervals and the rules for documenting results.

What this means in practice

It requires evidence that the process is supervised and the results repeatable. Among other things the auditor checks calibrations, atmosphere verification independent of the probe, the condition of the generator and the completeness of production records.
