Dew Point and CO₂ Measurement and Control Systems
Measures the dew point or the CO₂ content of the generator atmosphere and, in the control version, trims the air supply automatically to hold the set value.
Endothermic gas generators
Controls generator output and dew point through the V-Mix valve system, correcting the air to gas ratio automatically during operation.
SuperGen, fueled by V-Mix, is the third generation of controlled endothermic and exothermic gas production. Using the latest sensor technology, SuperGen continuously updates its flow curve database to reflect changes in the atmosphere and the condition of the catalyst. The result is better process control, increased turndown and a faster response to changes in gas demand.
The system is a direct replacement for existing carburiser mixing systems. It controls generator temperature and dew point at the same time, and flexible blower configurations simplify the installation. Trim control keeps the dew point accurate, a ratio table handles variations in demand, and over and under drive compensation covers the lag of the reaction gas. Sensors are tared automatically at start-up and a clogged filter alarm warns before flow is affected.
Operation is through a 12.1 inch colour touchscreen, with a 15 inch screen optional, including video recording and multi-language support. Wiring is simplified by standard industrial circular connectors, and a local variable frequency drive keeps EMI-generating cable runs short. The system is supplied with an air blower, VFD and air filter assembly, and communicates over Ethernet using Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU.
